En Plein Air Seaside Paint-Out with Jeanette Smith

Join us for our next en plein air painting venture with Sunshine Coast, seascape artist, Jeanette (Jen) Smith. Jen is a professional artist and a very passionate painter. 

Spend a morning painting alongside Jen. She will share insights about what informs her practice and ignites her passion for seascapes, as well as demonstrating a few of her favourite acrylic painting tips. 

What to bring: Bring along your own chair/rug and art materials of choice. (don't forget water and a water container) 

BYO sun protection, insect repellant (just in case), a shady hat, drinking water etc. 

Please bring your own tea/coffee and a small plate of food to share for morning tea. 

Parking and amenities available nearby. 

Please meet at the Island end of the bridge at 8am

Artist Bio:

Jen enjoys capturing waterways and beaches within the Sunshine Coast, she is shy to admit that she has 40 plus years of tutoring from N.S.W University Newcastle, Tafe, to the Sunshine Coast, QLD. 

Jen loves en-plein-air as it gives you, connection to the natural environment and a sense of space to create in.
