Season of Creation Gathering 2026

Join us for the Catholic Earthcare Season of Creation Gathering 2026 — a national online event bringing the Australian Catholic community together to respond with hope, faith and action as we care for our common home.

Over two inspiring days, participants will engage with keynote presentations, formation opportunities and practical workshops grounded in Laudato Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching. Whether you are new to this work or looking to deepen your commitment, this gathering will equip and encourage you to take meaningful action in your community.

Day 1: Formation for All  

A day of shared learning, reflection and inspiration through keynote presentations from leading voices, including:

• Bishop Timothy Norton SVD – Bishop of Broome 

• Shirley Quaresimin – Chairperson, NATSICC 

• Archbishop Peter Loy Chong – Archbishop of Suva, Fiji 

• Julie Edwards – CEO, Jesuit Social Services 

• Rev Anthony Doran – Executive Secretary for Liturgy, Australian Catholic Bishops Conference

• Dr Anne Jennings – Perth Archdiocese Member of Committees and Catholic Earthcare Laudato Si' Advisory Committee. 

• Alwin Macalalad – Regional Coordinator Pacific-Asia & Oceania, Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development  

Day 2: Action in Context  

Explore practical and inspiring responses to environmental challenges through a range of workshops. Tailored to different ministry areas and contexts, these workshops will showcase real-world examples and provide tools to support action in your own community.

$100 / organisation (e.g. parish, school, office)
