Mastering carrying capacity and feed budgets for grazing enterprises
Event description
Learn the tools that will help you prepare for Autumn and Summer seasons by determining your farm’s carrying capacity, as well as put in place effective feed budgeting strategies to ensure resilience and productivity on your farm. This one-day workshop led by Jeisane Accioly is aimed at beef and sheep grazing enterprises.
We will cover:
- Calculating carrying capacity for your property
- Understanding feed demands for your stock
- Calculating feed supply and preparing for the upcoming autumn and summer seasons.
Morning tea and lunch provided. Calculation tools will be done online so please bring your own laptop/device.
