Renovation Readiness is a practical 90-minute online workshop for anyone planning a home improvement project—from one-room refreshes and rental updates to kitchens, bathrooms and larger renovations.
Bring one real project to use as your focus throughout the workshop.
Together, we’ll look at:
• The readiness sequence that keeps projects moving in the right order
• What your project genuinely needs to accomplishing
• Where you are in the process now
• Whether design, budget or schedule gets to drive
• How to create clearer scope, priorities and boundaries

- Is this only for large renovations?
No.
The method works for anything from a one-room refresh or rental update to a kitchen, bathroom or larger renovation. Small projects can create surprisingly large headaches when the prep gets skipped.
- What if my project is still only an idea?
That is an excellent time to attend.
Reno Readiness is designed to help before you begin purchasing, ordering or knocking down anything expensive.
- What if I cannot attend live?
Not to worry!
Your ticket includes the replay and both guidebooks, so you can watch in your own time. You are also invited to the live group follow-up check-in on October 21.
- Do I need any design or Feng Shui experience?
None at all.
The Feng Shui element is practical and grounded—helping you prepare the home, manage the disruption and welcome the space back afterwards.
And since Lee is leading the workshop, she will share all you need to know about design that is relevant to this workshop.
You just need to be a person needing help with your home!
- How will I join the workshop?
The workshop will be held live on Zoom. Registered attendees will receive the access information by email before the event. But please note that if you wait until the last 15 minutes to purchase your ticket you may not get the ticket to the live event in time so please purchase beforehand if you want to be with the live group!
- Is this useful for a small decorative project?
Absolutely!
A project does not need demolition to benefit from a plan. Paint, furniture, lighting, window treatments and room refreshes still involve budget, timing, measurements and decisions.
If you are simply replacing one lamp, this may be more help than you need. But once that lamp invites six other decisions to the party, you are in the right place.
- How long will I have access to the replay?
The replay will be available for 60 days after the workshop—giving you time to revisit the method as your project develops or when the tile starts getting bossy again.
The guidebooks are yours to keep!
- Can my partner attend with me?
Yes.
Since home improvement projects are often a household + family matter, it is important to have the key players on the same page.
One ticket may cover two people from the same household joining together on one screen. Home decisions are often shared decisions, so bringing your fellow decision-maker is encouraged.
- Will Lee review my project during the live workshop?
You will use one real home project of your choice throughout the guided exercises and leave with your own Project Readiness Snapshot.
The Q&A may use one or two attendee situations as examples, but this is a group workshop rather than a private design consultation.
- What should I bring?
Bring one home project to use as your focus, along with paper and a pen. Photographs, measurements or samples are welcome but not required. Your project may be at the idea stage or already underway. And no size is too small, or large, for this process. It works on everything from a mini decorative reset for a room, to a larger renovation project. The steps are the same!
