‘Seaweed – A Love Story’ uses art and innovative technology to reveal the hidden beauty and alarming decline of the region’s seaweed forests.
Diver Nicole Miller shares her love of Wellington’s south coast and harbour, documenting stunning kelp forests and kina barrens.
Nicole wants to help inform local decisionmakers and will be joined on a panel for Q+A with Rongotai MP, ocean swimmer and surfer Julie Anne Genter and regional councillor Quentin Duthie. Nicole’s visual art will also be for sale.
Nicole founded Explore Your Coast, with a mission to raise awareness of underwater ecosystems and empower communities to take stewardship.
The bar and restaurant will be open from 3pm until 10pm.
