Appreciate this gift from the sea with a workshop to recognise and taste local and introduced seaweeds with Izumi Uchida Schmidt and Sally Carson. Port to Port ferry from Port Chalmers is an option as a fun and fast way to get the venue.
Seaweed is a big part of Izumi's Japanese heritage and Sally is a seaweed enthusiast from way back and likes to serve kelp chips at every dinner party.
Cost: $40pp
