△ OVERVIEW
Welcome to Sunshine Coast's Secret Oasis, a music & dance festival with a strong focus on tree planting and regeneration. A collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Council, the Kabi Kabi people and the sacred land where Secret Oasis is hosted.
Join us for an expression of art through the physical, mental and transcendental planes. Our intention for this event is to create a deeper sense of connection to self, with like minded souls and the land we gather on. We are celebrating you and the growth of our community as we move through one of the most critical transitions humankind has experienced. Right now our need is to foster connection within our community to prosper and promote our health and well being.
We are deeply moved with gratitude by the support of this community as we share our latest instalment of Secret Oasis Festival and what The VanderAa Collective 'Secret Garden Experience' has become.

△ OUR LEGACY
This event is a leave no trace, zero waste & carbon neutral event. Our goal is to plant 1000 native tree's at the nature reserve where Secret Oasis will be held. Plant your intentions for the festival as we put our hands in the earth together and nourish the seeds of growth. As the years pass and we return to the nature reserve of secret oasis we can witness our growth of our intentions planted. The Sunshine Coast & Kabi Kabi mob are sharing their expertise and understanding of the land on how we can best regenerate the land.
The VanderAa Collective acknowledges, recognises and extend's our deepest gratitude and respect to the traditional custodians of Australia and the Kabi Kabi people of Sunshine Coast where Secret Oasis gathers on. We are grateful for their contribution, collaboration and guidance of knowledge of regeneration.
Aaron (Event Creator) would like to personally extend his deepest gratitude, love and respect to his adopted skin family of Nabungardi who gifted him his first Yidaki (didgeridoo) at the age of 16 in Milingimbi. Keith Lapulung, Council elder of Milingimbi has given Aaron permission to use the Yidaki in his music as it was given as a cultural exchange.
