Every year, we gather in a completely new, secret location to experience pure, magical Austin community energy. If you’ve ever wanted to escape the usual venue crowd for an unforgettable night of music off the beaten path, this event is built for you.

Everyone gets to journey through the woods to our secret main stage, but you get to pick the path that sounds most fun for your crew:
500-foot hike (Short & sweet!)
1/3-mile hike
Longer hikes (Details coming soon!)
Guided bike rides (Details coming soon!)
Once you arrive at your chosen meetup spot, one of our wonderful volunteers will guide you through the trees right to the performance area.

🎒 What to Pack
To stay comfy and leave our host spot cleaner than we found it, bring along:
Comfortable hiking shoes (Terrain can be rough!)
A bike lock (If you're rolling in on two wheels)
Bug spray, drinks, and snacks
A trash bag to pack out everything you bring in
💛 Our Neighborhood Roots
The Secret Show was originally inspired by an enchanting creek performance organized by Lindsay of Little Mazarn back in the 2010s. That magical night deeply inspired A. Litsa, who has now been organizing the Secret Show for the past 5 years.
Litsa owns Dear Diary Coffee and lives right here in East Austin. Dear Diary sponsors the event through Litsa volunteering her time and funding costs out-of-pocket to bring our community together.
Because we're neighborhood people creating something special without big corporate budgets, we love building this together! When you RSVP, you can sign up to volunteer or pitch in a few dollars to help cover equipment and printing costs.
🌿 A Note on Safety & Vibe
Who's Invited: Neighbors of all ages are welcome! Because our stage is tucked out in nature, please consider the physical condition of yourself and your kids. If a 500-foot hike through rough terrain sounds challenging, please put safety first. (Rest assured, our secret location is fully accessible to emergency medical responders if ever needed.)
The Vibe: We host this event out of love for our neighborhood. If you're looking to cause trouble or party rowdily, please find another spot. Help us protect this cozy, magical space for everyone!
