Secret Sunrise - Movement, Music, Connection

Celebrate life and experience joy the Secret Sunrise way – through music, movement, and connection! 

Quoted by TIMEOUT Magazine as "The happiest way to start your day", Secret Sunrise is a global movement for all ages, that shares joy through mindfulness, movement, music, play, and connection. We use wireless headphone technology to fully immerse you in the music, bringing you into the present moment. Each session is guided by a skilled Facilitator, who will help you to feel relaxed, unleashed, and share joy with others in the group. All ages are welcomed and no dance experience is necessary!

The session is 60 minutes long, and will start with gentle mindfulness before you are guided to dance through a journey of uplifting music, incorporating playfulness, movement, connection, and joy. It is an experience like no other! 

The session will take place in the morning, outdoors in nature, on the Senior Primary lawn at Montessori International College (MIC) in Forest Glen. Feel the joy of being outdoors, moving your body with your friends and family at the start of your day. You won't regret it!

Start time: Please arrive at 7.30am for an 8.00am prompt start

Finish time: The dance will end at 9.00am. Kindly ensure to leave the school grounds by 9.30am

Children 4 years and under: Free

Children 5 - 18 years: $10

Adults: $15

Please bring:

• A bottle of water
• A towel or picnic blanket to sit down on
• Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in
• Mozzie spray and sunscreen
• An open mind :)

This session is open to all ages! Children 4 and under may join for free!

Rain plan:

Our headphones can withstand a sprinkle, but not heavy rain. You will be notified via email if it is raining heavily, so please check your email before heading out the door. If the event is cancelled due to rain, your ticket will either be reimbursed (less the booking fee), or you can choose to use your ticket at a future dance.
