    Want to get more out of your home vegetable garden or just starting out and want to find out how you can save your own seed - saving you money, and increasing your chances of producing resilient, hardy plants?  This workshop presented by Mark & Kate from Purple Pear Farm, will cover the following topics: 

    1. seed saving methods
    2. identifying when it’s the right time to collect seed
    3. preparing seeds for storage
    4. monitoring seed quality
    5. growing from seed 
    6. when to collect seed and when to grow from cuttings. And more!

    Don't miss out on this informative workshop to be held in the lovely grounds of Cessnock Men's Shed & Garden. Morning tea will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. Alternatively, the Men's Shed will have a BBQ on the day. Sausage sandwiches available for a gold coin donation.
