Seed Soundscape
Event description
Come along to Valla Public hall on Saturday December 14th from 3-5PM for a beautiful, uplifting and heart-opening sound immersion.
Combining voice, bowls, flute, percusion and gong, this experiential soundscape will relax, revitalise, recalibrate and raise the vibration of every cell in your being. Sound frequencies have been shown to have profound healing capacities for the body, mind and spirit and have been incorporated in all cultures as a result. Research has shown that sound frequencies measured in hertz can both mimic and induce an electromagnetic response in the brain and that particular sound vibrations create a resonance in DNA with healing effects.
The beginning of life in East India is called 'Nada' or the primal tone. 'Nada Brahma' means 'the world is sound'.This is a universal concept across all denominations, philosophies and indigenous cultures, who have long seen sound as a healing modality.
According to Hazrat Inayat Khan " the knower of the mystery of sound knows the mystery of the whole universe".
Ginny Cook has been facilitating sound experiences for more than 15 years. She is also a singer/songwriter and certified Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher and a women's circle facilitator.
