Seed Starting Demystified Workshop
Event description
Get your garden ready for a bountiful spring with our hands-on workshop! In this class, you'll learn the basics of starting seeds indoors to ensure your plants are perfectly timed for transplanting after the last frost.
We'll walk you through the essential steps, from selecting the right seeds to creating the best indoor environment for sprouting. Together, we'll explore common pitfalls—like overwatering, inadequate light, and temperature issues—and share proven strategies to overcome them. You'll also learn how different seed-starting methods (from simple containers to sophisticated grow lights) can affect your success.
After the informative discussion, we’ll dive right in and start seeds together using a variety of techniques, so you can see first-hand how to apply what you've learned. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned gardener, this workshop will give you the confidence and skills to grow healthy, strong plants from seed!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.
