Event: Seedlings Nature School - Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan

General information

Travel instructions

The best way to get to the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan is by car. Free all day parking is available in the P3 carpark. Public transport options are unfortunately limited and not recommend. However, for those looking to utilise public transport the closest trains stations are Campbelltown and Macarthur. Buses run between Campbelltown station and Camden via Mount Annan. The nearest bus stop to the Garden is on Narellan Road outside the Garden. You can then walk 2.5km along Mount Annan Drive to enter the Garden.

Entry instructions

After parking in the P3 carpark, head North-west towards the Bowden Centre using the footpaths. The Bowden Centre is located just behind the Visitor's Centre and Cafe.

After entry instructions

We meet each week in our Nature Play Area located beside the Bowden Centre.

Toilet location

Toilets are located within the Bowden Centre including an accessible bathroom.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking spaces are located within the P3 parking area. The Bowden Centre is located right beside the P3 parking area .

Wet weather information

Seedlings Nature School is all about enjoying nature at all times of the year - in rain or shine! We recommend dressing appropriately for messy nature play and bringing a raincoat so that your little Seedling can have the most fun exploring nature no matter the weather.

Wheelchair and pram access

Most of the program is accessible for wheelchairs and prams. We use pram and wheelchair friendly footpaths on our walks. Please do note that our Nature Play Area is bark chip which may be tricky for some wheelchairs.

Structure of a Seedlings Session

Each week, Seedlings Nature School follows a similar routine. We begin at 9:30am in our Nature Play Area for 30-40 minutes of free nature play. We then move onto the mats on the lawns for a story and many Seedlings choose to have a snack at this time too. After our story, we head into the Garden for a walk and we finish the morning with an activity or nature craft.
