Seeker Global - World Music Festival

The world music festival is back for it's second year and we are extremely excited by the calibre of acts we have lined up for you.

AFRO MOSES SPIRIT BAND
Afro Moses has a magnetic personality and a fabulous ability to enchant people with his high energy music, powerful messages, showmanship and colourful stage shows. His musical style included a blend of Afro beats, reggae, Highlife, funk, jazz, raga, salsa, percussion, his traditional folk music and much more.
Using traditional African instruments (eg. the kora, mbira, Seperewa, gonde, talking drum, balafon - Afro plays 14 instruments, blending them with modern grooves and technology to create a fusion of hot rhythms. The stage shows guarantee to uplift, transport, inspire and move everyone.

MARCELLO MAIO'S SAMBA MUNDI
Samba Mundi is a “funky multicultural collective” (Seth Jordan, ABC Limelight) of musicians based in Sydney, who play a style of Brazilian and Latin grooves with elements of Jazz and other World Music. They began as a trio in 2004 and have now evolved into an exciting and extremely groovy collection of 5 to 12 musicians.
Drawing influences from legendary Brazilian artists such as Elis Regina, Tania Maria, Hermeto Pascoal, Antonio Carlos Jobim along with Salsa greats Ruben Blades and Willie Colon, Samba Mundi successfully mirages Samba with Salsa and adds a touch of Reggae, Jazz and Soul to create a wonderfully colourful performance.

JARABI BAND
Jarabi Band leads audiences on a dynamic journey from the ancient Manding Empire of West Africa to modern-day city life, weaving the timeless musical traditions of Guinea with contemporary sounds of Melbourne's vivid music scene. Led by visionary master musician Mohamed Camara, Jarabi crafts a unique fusion of infectious rhythms, intricate melodies and soul-stirring vocals, delivering an exciting sound which transcends cultural barriers and speaks a universal language, unifying people from diverse backgrounds.

LOLO LOVINA
Lolo Lovina inspire audiences all over the world (Cuba, USA, Spain, France, NZ, Germany, Bosnia, Serbia) to celebrate connection, culture & community through their virtuosic delivery and love of Sarah and Nenad's ancestral Romani music. Lolo Lovina fuse this with music that excites them, be it heavy metal, tango, swing jazz or British pop! Lolo Lovina's stage performance is high energy, super tight, interactive and exciting as they tangibly share the love and respect they have for each other and their ancestors with the audience

KELLY'S HEROES
Kelly's Heroes is a lively traditional Irish music trio based in Sydney, featuring James McKendry, Kevin Kelly, and Marcus Holden. They are known for their energetic performances, filled with fiddle tunes, rhythmic guitar, bodhrán, and engaging singalongs. The group is popular at pubs, Irish weddings, and other lively events, and they aim to create a fun atmosphere that gets the crowd going and encourages a lot of audience participation.
