Seen The Film
Event description
Join us at the library for a screening of Seen, a ground-breaking Australian documentary that explores how healing our own emotional wounds as adults can profoundly impact the way we parent, and even influence our children’s brain development.
This powerful film combines compelling personal stories with insights from neuroscience and psychology to highlight the importance of connection, presence, and emotional safety in family life. Seen is a moving and hopeful look at how we can break cycles of trauma and build stronger relationships with the children in our lives.
After the screening, join Susan Williams, a Parent-Child Attachment Specialist from Marymead CatholicCare, for an opportunity to start conversations about parenting, ways to nurture wellbeing and where to from here.
This event is proudly presented in partnership with Queanbeyan Schools as Community Centres (SaCC), Marymead CatholicCare, and Queanbeyan-Palerang Libraries.
