    Event description

Do you have to influence without authority? Does your role involve facilitating revenue growth and collaboration by working across your organisation - engaging with people from across your firm’s practice areas? Is your ability to influence and deliver challenged by systems, roles and incentives that are designed for more traditional leadership roles that run vertically down the organisation?

Most law and business advisory firms are structured into practice teams based on service line or technical specialism. That’s great, but it makes roles that involve working horizontally across these silos so much more challenging.

This seminar is for those who want to understand more and develop their skills as lateral or enterprise leaders. It will address:

    • The strategic importance of enterprise leadership
    • Case studies and practical examples
    • Systemic factors that help and hinder enterprise leadership
    • Getting the cultural and behavioural settings right
    • Tips and tools for enterprise leaders
    • Development strategies and pathways.

Target audience: Those who facilitate growth and collaboration around key clients, industry sectors, complex work assignments, strategic growth areas, innovation projects or corporate service delivery. Typical role titles might be Client Relationship Partner, Sector Lead, Major Projects Leader, Practice Stream Leaders, Corporate Service Head or Chief Operating Officer.

Format: A 75-minute interactive seminar with presentations and exercises. The session will be live and not recorded so as to encourage participant participation.
