Self-care is a proactive approach to maintaining overall well-being, involving regular actions that nurture physical, mental, and emotional health to prevent stress and burnout.

Baw Baw Shire Council is partnered with Bettermentall Together Inc to deliver a self-care workshop

The self-care workshop is designed to empower you with practical strategies and tools for integrating self-care into your daily life. Discover how to prioritise your well-being, manage stress and cultivate a balanced lifestyle through engaging activities and guidance. Whether you’re looking to enhance your mental, emotional or physical health this workshop offers actionable insights and personalised support to help you thrive.

Participants will gain an understanding of what self-care means on an individual level as well as understanding the key elements to building and maintaining your own self-care including the benefits this can provide to their well-being. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own personal self-care plan to take home and implement.

These free community workshops will run for 5 hours across the following venues. Places are limited and registrations are required.

Wednesday 19th February – Yarragon Bowls Club – 930am to 230pm

Wednesday 12th March – Longwarry Public Hall, meeting room – 930am to 230pm

Wednesday 26th March – McGregor Park Hall Trafalgar– 930am to 230pm

Bettermentall Together Inc is a not-for-profit mental health organisation based in Trafalgar. The team at Bettermentall Together Inc is dedicated to empowering individuals to live their best lives. Through a variety of workshops, training sessions and drop-in services, they provide opportunities for people to learn, grow and make positive changes. Their holistic approach ensures that everyone can find the support and resources they need to thrive. 


    The training session will start at 930am and the training session will finish at 230pm.

    Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please confirm any dietary requirements when booking tickets.
