The Self Manager Hub is hosting a free online workshop with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to explain the new Short Term Respite Guidelines.
Hear directly from Alex Rosenthal, Branch Manager, Engagement & Inclusion at the NDIA, about what’s changed, who can access this funding, and how it can be used. Learn what supports are included, what’s not, and how these changes may affect you and your family. Hosted by Dr George Taleporos, this interactive session will include a Q&A to help you feel informed and confident about using your NDIS Short Term Respite funding.
It is also an opportunity to provide feedback to the NDIA on the new guidelines.
Who Should Come?
People with disability and families who want to understand how these changes impact them.
Please note: This workshop is for peer support, education, and information sharing. It is not legal or professional advice. We encourage you to get that advice, and can provide some tips on how to get help.
