Self regulation: Resistance, persistence and the art of insistence

Self-regulation is the capacity to control impulses and requires a child to think ahead to consequences of their actions. This session will develop your understanding of how self-regulation develops. Understandings will inform your planning and enhance practice in relation to self-regulation for young children.
