Event description

Join Craig Castree to discover how you can be a little more self sufficient from your very own garden.

He will cover choosing what useful plants to grow, some simple preserving techniques of fruits, veggies, as well as cheese and bread making.

Craig Castree is an award-winning Horticulturist of 45 years’ experience at growing his own food organically and creating edible gardens. He is a published author 5 books all pointed toward being self sufficient on an urban block. 

Please note that this is an event for Naarm/Melbourne gardeners only. If you live outside this area, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.

If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully (eg. interpreter), please let us know at least two weeks prior to the event and we will be pleased to assist you.
