As the Selwyn District continues to experience strong business and employment growth it’s appropriate to have excellent speakers with experience in both.
Associate Director for PwC Food and Fibre Consulting team, Emma Boase brings deep expertise in helping primary sector businesses, industry groups, and regional organisations navigate change and boost productivity. She will explore key transformations in the food and fibre sector—such as automation, AI integration, and evolving workforce needs—and introduce the concept of exovation: replacing outdated practices with innovative, future-focused approaches. Emma will also unpack the implications of the new Primary Sector Growth (PSG) Fund and Budget 2025 announcements offering practical insights.
Shane Epiha, Account Manager for Carter Tyres will take us on the journey of Carter Tyres and their evolution taking them to the large organisation they are today. Having been on the journey of the Kai Aku Rika Economic Development Strategy and with strong business acumen, Shane is able to bring his experience of the big picture planning, to the practicalities of business growth.
