Does Another Variable Explain the Link? A Practical Introduction to Mediation Analysis
This is a practical seminar on the principles of mediation analysis, in which one seeks to determine whether a third variable can explain the association between a predictor and the response. I will present examples of research questions that can be answered with mediation analysis. This will be followed by an overview of current mediation analysis methodology and a discussion of when a method is suitable.
The talk will be about 40 minutes long and following by discussion.
