Celebrating our Heritage: Behind the scenes at North Sydney Council’s Archive
North Sydney Council’s Historical Services team collects and cares for an enormous variety of objects - from artworks to archaeology, clothing to cooking equipment.
Only a small proportion of this fascinating collection is on display at any one time; the majority is stored in our dedicated archive facility.
Join Historical Services staff for a free tour behind the scenes of some of these stored archives and artefacts, which help us to celebrate North Sydney’s rich history.

Bookings are essential.
Accessibility Information
There are two flights of stairs. Please wear sturdy enclosed shoes.
Large bags will not be permitted inside the collection store.
