Connect Club: Travel the World from the Library | Seniors Week

As part of Seniors Week 2025, the City of Belmont is proud to offer a range of activities celebrating our vibrant senior community.

One of the highlights this year is the Connect Club: Explore the World with Google Arts & Culture, a unique opportunity for seniors to engage with technology in a fun and interactive way.

This free session introduces participants to the Google Arts & Culture app, allowing them to take virtual tours of iconic sites, museums, and landmarks from around the globe — from the Great Wall of China to world-renowned art galleries. The workshop is designed to build confidence in using digital tools, encourage curiosity, and offer a hands-on learning experience in a supportive and social environment.

Open to all seniors, volunteers, and active community members, this event also contributes to the City’s goal of enhancing digital literacy and community engagement among older residents.

No prior experience is needed, and participants will enjoy a friendly, inclusive session where they can learn, explore, and connect.
