Seniors Wildflower Walk

Experience Spring at the Sanctuary and come on a special tour of the Sanctuary. Learn about the wildflowers blooming all around you from the Sanctuary's Plant Production Coordinator, Josh Lay.

Please note that this is a special seniors event for people over 60.

This event is part of Banyule and Nillumbik council's Spring Outdoors Program the Victorian Seniors Festival 

FAQs

How much walking is there?

Our standard tours are about 1km in distance on unsealed tracks. However Michael will adjust the distance covered based on the ability of your group. Please let us know if walking long distances is difficult for you.

What do I need to bring?

Please dress appropriately for the weather (eg. appropriate footwear - no thongs or heels). 

What happens if it rains?

Wildflowers don't mind a little bit of rain, so the event will go ahead even if light showers are expected. We may cancel in the event of extreme weather conditions (eg. high winds or heavy rainfall); but we will contact you directly if this occurs.
