Seniors Yoga – Northern Beaches Seniors Program

Move gently, improve your wellbeing, and connect with others in our Seniors Yoga program designed for those 55+ who are more mobile and able to move comfortably.

Led by our resident physiotherapy & yoga specialist, Cait, this class will help you build flexibility, balance, strength, and relaxation – all at your own pace and within your abilities.

Accessible for You: This class is designed to cater to your individual needs, with modifications offered as needed. We’re not trying to break world records – it’s about moving mindfully, building confidence, and having some fun.

When: Mondays, starting 17th Nov for 5 weeks. Last session is Monday 15th December.
Time: 9:30am – 10:30am (arrive at 9:00 am on Week 1 for meet & greet, needs discussion, and paperwork)

Cost: $10 per session (cash or card on the day - pay as you go). When booking in you will be able to pre-select which dates you would like to attend over the 5 weeks as we know some of you have prior commitments.
Where: Northern Beaches Community Hall, 24 Wallace Street, Bucasia

After each class, enjoy tea, coffee, and a light morning tea – a wonderful chance to connect with fellow seniors.

Please note: For those who may struggle to get on/off the floor or have mobility challenges, we also offer Seniors Chair Yoga, which includes all the benefits of a yoga class safely from a chair. Check out the Chair Yoga class option which will run directly after this class.

What to Bring:
-Water bottle
-Towel
- Yoga Mat

What to Wear:
-Comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement while seated

This is a 5-week program designed to give you the full experience and benefits of gentle yoga.
