Sense & Sensibility
Description
"Why such secrecy?"
Mandurah Baptist College's Year 12 ATAR Drama students bring to life the classic novel Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen.
Adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill, the play follows the romantic pursuits of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. Elinor is the eldest and more sensible in her approach to love (sense), while Marianne is caught up in romantic ideals (sensibility). Despite their differing views, both experience love and heartbreak.
In a world where gossip is the lifeblood of society, it is imperative to keep up appearances - but at what cost?
