Hello Parents and Guardians,
Guide Dogs Victoria are excited to be hosting our inaugural SENSE-ational Junior Camp in the July School Holidays. This camp has been designed for primary aged students between the ages of 5-12 with a vision impairment who are looking to further develop their O&M and OT life skills.
Junior Camp “Sense sational Adventures” Our SENSE-ational Camp is specially designed for children with vision impairments to use their senses and residual vision while building independence and confidence! Most suitable for primary aged students looking to have fun, make new friends and explore concepts related to mobility. This camp will also have Occupational Therapy activities to support the development of student’s life skills.
SENSE-ational Adventures Junior Camp is an opportunity for students to identify and develop strategies to enhance their independent living, planning and travel skills within an age-appropriate framework.
When: Monday 7 July – Wednesday 9 July 2025
Where: Our brand new residential campus at Guide Dogs 2 Chandler Highway 3101
Cost: $2,880
RSVP: Friday 26th June 2025
If we have more applications than places available on the closing date, 14 students will be selected. This selection process will take into consideration the appropriateness of this program to the student’s age and O&M/OT goals.
