TAP-NY September Dinner in Mandarin with Frances & Jennifer in LIC

Join Frances (Design/Marketing) and Jennifer (Tech Chair) for the September Dinner in Mandarin in LIC!

We will be dining at a restaurant in LIC. This is the perfect chance for you to come make new friends while practicing (and hopefully) improving your Mandarin! 

Registering for the Event: Because of heavy demand for our dinner events, we have a lottery process for sign-ups.

Sign-ups will close Tuesday, September 2nd at 11:59 pm ET, after which attendees will be randomly selected. Replying to our confirmation email, should you receive it, is required to attend.

Note: While registration for the event is free, individuals are responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other in an intimate setting.

Starting May 2026, all TAP-NY event attendees must fill out the Member Intake Form. Only sign-ups with a completed member intake form will be considered for the event.

About Frances and Jennifer

Frances grew up in Tainan before moving to Vancouver for high school. She studied Architecture at UC Berkeley then later pivoted into UIUX in Seattle. She loves traveling, playing tennis and browsing designer furniture and coffee table books she can't afford. In her free time, she also runs a foodie account on Instagram!

Jennifer was born in the Bay Area but grew up in Hsinchu, Taiwan before moving back to the States for university. She studied Advertising at Boston University and later moved to NYC, where she works as a product designer at an agency. In her free time, she loves baking, trying new restaurants, and finding her next show to binge.
