Welcome to Wattlebrush School of Bushcraft and Wizardry, where Hogwarts meets the Australian bush! Join us for a school holiday adventure filled with hands-on wizarding classes and outdoor exploration designed for Wiz-kids aged 8-12.

Help create a downunder Diagon Alley!

Wattlebrush School of Bushcraft and Wizardry invites you to Wizarding Wares, where creativity meets commerce in a bustling marketplace of magical marvels.

Wiz-kids will dive into classic Wattlebrush activities brewing potions, crafting spells, and mastering bushcraft while also preparing for the Grand Wattlebrush Market Day. Here, they’ll barter and swap their handmade magical wares with family and friends, learning the value of communication, creativity, and sustainability along the way.

Our Market afternoon will be Wednesday September 30th 3-4pm

What’s in Store?

Shop Creation – Dream up your own wizarding business! Will you open a potion apothecary, a joke shop filled with magical mischief, a wandmaker’s workshop, or a bookshop selling freshly penned spells? 
Stall Building – Design and decorate a wizarding stall fit for Diagon Alley. Create signs, displays, and magical touches to draw in customers.
Product Crafting – Craft dazzling magical wares, from trickster charms and enchanted artifacts to spell-scrolls and nature-foraged talismans. Everything is made with a focus on reusing and recycling, ensuring a sustainable and thoughtful wizarding trade.
Haggling & Bartering – On Market Day parents and friends will join in the fun, swapping and trading for the best magical finds. If you run out of money before the final Auction, you can visit the Goblin Bank if you dare!

Accessibility & Safety

We'll send a comprehensive starter form to gather your child’s comfort and safety requirements. For accessibility, students need to be able to climb the Scout Hall stairs. Many activities take place outdoors, so sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing are essential.
