September Women's Community Gathering
Description
Breathe - Community Gathering & Women’s Circle
with Sarah Kent, and founder of Calm Studio Massage & Wellness, Lucille Lebouc
A community gathering around the fire where we can all take a deep breath, develop genuine community connection, share stories, return to our bodies wisdom, and celebrate the changing seasons of nature.
This is is a safe space where we can support each other through the tidal waves of life and return to the 'village' mindset in a separated society.
What’s included:
Outdoor fire with cushioned, comfortable seating
Herbal tea and filtered water
Meditation practice (guided)
Sharing Circle (held by an experienced facilitator)
Group Ritual (or reflection practice)
What is a Women's Circle?
Women's circles have been a part of ancient traditions for women over a variety of cultures for millennia. It is a space where women come together in a safe, supportive environment to share, connect and honour the feminine cycles, fostering community, reflection, empowerment and a sense of belonging.
This circle is not intended for advice. It is a space to develop genuine connection and hold other women in anything they are moving through. Depending on the topics that arise, we will engage in a supportive ritual at the end together, tailored to the group. Themes often revolve around women's empowerment (us being in each others corner and life cheerleader!), with an opportunity to share or ask any questions if it feels therapeutic.
This is an opportunity to pause, take a deep breath and connect with others who are riding the ups and downs of life!
Your contribution supports us in purchasing firewood, herbal tea and as a form of exchange for our time and energy of putting these events together (a lot goes on in the background to make these happen!).
Who is welcome?
All women are welcome! This circle is crafted for women from all walks of life. Maidens, mothers to be, mothers, grandmothers and babies in arms welcome. Whether you are in the thick of motherhood, entering peri-menopause of traversing the path of fertility...this is for you!
For now, this is a toddler and child free event. Future family friendly events are on the horizon!
Your Hosts
Sarah Kent
a mum and creative who is passionate about community, connection and creating meaningful spaces for women. In her own words:
“I’ve always felt drawn to the simple things that bring people together — nature, good conversation, creativity and a sense of community. I think there’s something really special about women coming together without pressure or expectation, simply to slow down, connect and share a moment with one another.”
Sarah hopes to help create a space where women can step away from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect with themselves and with nature, and build genuine connections with other women in the community.
