Hailing from Northeastern Pennsylvania, this five-piece band honors the legacy of bluegrass pioneers while adding its own original voice to the genre. With performances across the U.S. and beyond, and three studio albums to their name, Serene Green brings tradition and innovation to every stage they grace. Serene Green is a traditional bluegrass band from Northeastern Pennsylvania featuring Quentin Fisher, Michael Johnson, Steve Leonard, Katelynn Casper and Sam Zolla.

Serene Green's desire is to honor the traditional side of bluegrass demonstrated by the pioneers of the genre, while also showcasing its original compositions and uniqueness. Since the band's inception in 2017, Serene Green has played in three countries and in over twenty of the United States, performed at countless festivals and venues alongside many nationally- and internationally-touring acts, and released three studio albums.

"Pennsylvania boasts a rich history within bluegrass music. Del McCoury, Bob Paisley, Gloria Belle Flickinger, and Tom Adams are just a few that have come from the Keystone State. Although Serene Green hasn’t been around nearly as long as the aforementioned names, they certainly should be included within that talented list. Godfrey Daniels, a nonprofit live music venue known as a listening room located in the heart of Southside Bethlehem, PA, is renowned as one of the finest and the second-longest continuously operating listening rooms in the United States.
