Seriously Silly: Comedic Character Development with Diana Divine and Iris Envy

Take your burlesque silliness seriously! Adelaide based award winning fools Diana Divine (Mx Burlesque Adelaide 2023, Adelaide Fringe Emerging Artist Award 2022) and Iris Envy (Mx Burlesque South Australia 2024) are here to help you level-up your comedic acts. We'll be working on your understanding of joke structure and communicating your ideas to your audiences, including the delicate balance of referential humour in "niche" acts.

Bringing their signature "friendly dickhead" energy to The Burlesque Studio, Iris and Diana will lead exercises and discussions around the why and how of making sexy silly - or vice versa.
