This is a Project Helping Volunteer Experience in partnership with The Delores Project

Minimum Age:

5+, children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

Agenda:

5:45 - Welcome, Overview, and Prepare for Dinner

7:00 - Dinner Service Begins

7:45 - Dinner Service Concludes, Clean Up

What We Will Do:

Project Helping volunteers will serve dinner to 30-35 unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness in the Denver area.

What to Bring:

A mask

Comfortable clothing (that you don't mind getting dirty)

Close-toed shoes

Where to Park:

**The Delores Project prefers to keep their address confidential to protect the safety of their guests. Please check your reminder text and email for the street address.

There is a small parking lot adjacent to the location, or street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Where to Meet:

Upon arrival, ring the doorbell marked "Delores Project," and the staff will direct you to where you need to go.

Check in with your Project Helping Kynd Leader when you arrive. They will be wearing a bright lime green shirt, and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast!

The Delores Project provides welcoming, low-barrier shelter and services for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals during times of homelessness. We believe that hospitality, respect, and regard for the dignity of each individual lay the groundwork for forming positive relationships leading to lasting change.
