Event description

This is the second of our six-part webinar series on Design for Planet. This Q&A and in-depth discussion will take place online as we explore what it means to be a sustainable service designer. We chat with three of our Design Declares Australia signatories, service designers who make products sustainably daily.

Panel Guests for this event:

Oliver Dykes: Senior Manager of Sustainable futures at Deloitte and Design Declares AU advisory board member, with over a decade of experience in stakeholder management, change management, research facilitation, systems thinking and strategic design. From large-scale organisational change to national service delivery, policy creation at state and federal levels, and cross-sector sustainability initiatives, His expertise focuses on projects that enable systems change.

Prof. Cameron Tonkinwise: International expert in design studies and transition design and the Research Director of the Design Innovation Research Centre at UTS. He writes and speaks extensively on the power of design to drive systems-level change to achieve more sustainable and equitable futures.

Arielle Breit: A design and innovation leader with over twenty years experience working internationally across strategy, design, innovation and brand, with a focus on sustainability, social impact and systems change. Her practice spans diverse disciplines, from service design and product innovation to storytelling and regenerative design.
