About the Presenter – Sheree Henley

Sheree Henley is a parent, advocate, and educator who has used the Service for One model for the past 12 years for her son Isaac, a young man with profound disabilities. She leads Isaac’s support team in a way that ensures he lives a purposeful, valued life with strong community connections.

Sheree draws on extensive experience across the education, government, and non-government sectors, alongside her professional background as a business analyst and change manager. She also holds a Master’s in Education and a Diploma of Governance.

As the founder of The Good Life Builders, Sheree equips families to design, establish, and sustain their own Service for One. Her workshops are practical, inspiring, and grounded in both professional expertise and lived family experience.

Your Local Mentor – Joanne Lynam

Jo Lynam brings deep passion, skill, and lived experience as a parent and MicroEnterprise Consultant with the Towards Better team.

As a mother of a daughter with disability, Jo has worked tirelessly to challenge society’s devalued views and open doors to “A Good Life.” She believes belonging is built in community — through contribution, connection, and shared value.

Her daughter, though unable to read, write, or speak much, now runs her own business five days a week. This opportunity has provided her with purpose, autonomy, and recognition as a valued community member.

Jo is focused on helping people with disability shape their skills, gifts, talents, and even obsessions into small local businesses. For her, the goal is clear: A Good Life, built on contribution, autonomy, and belonging.

Using NDIS Funding

Families can use NDIS funding if their (or their loved one’s) funding is Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.
