Sesen Temple Blue Lotus Sound Ceremony
Description
Sesen Temple : Blue Lotus Sound Ceremony
Open the gates to Kemet.
Enter the temple through the ancient waters of the Blue Lotus.
This is an immersive Blue Lotus Sound Ceremony weaving Kemetic mythology, Blue Lotus tea, sound healing and light transmission into an evening of deep remembrance and inner opening.
We begin with a ceremonial cup of True Egyptian Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) — the sacred flower of the Nile, associated with rebirth, awakening and the rising of consciousness from the waters.
From there, you’ll be guided through a sound journey with crystal alchemy bowls, voice, frequency and vibration, allowing the body to soften and the inner temple to become still.
Drawing on the ancient symbolism of Kemet, the Nile and the lotus emerging from primordial waters, the ceremony becomes a passage between worlds — a space to listen, receive and remember.

HOST:
Sesen Temple is a living temple of the heart and inner sanctum dedicated to the remembrance of ancient wisdom, sacred ecology and the regeneration of the Egyptian Blue Lotus, Nymphaea caerulea.
Rooted in Nubian territory in Southern Egypt, Sesen Temple works at the intersection of plant wisdom, ceremony, sound, land regeneration and contemporary temple culture. At the heart of this work is a deep relationship with the true Egyptian Blue Lotus — Nymphaea caerulea — and the restoration of her presence, cultivation and ancient lineage.
Sesen Temple was co-founded by Therese Maree Lowton, a sound healer and Nada Yoga practitioner who has lived on Indigenous Nubian Heissa Island beside the Temple of Isis for the past four years. Trained in Nada Yoga in Nepal and initiated by elders and teachers from multiple global lineages on Egyptian soil, Therese works with sound, voice, ceremony and the Blue Lotus as pathways into remembrance and deeper connection.
