Tejaswini Abhiyaan is a community initiative organised by Shri Yog Vedant Seva Samiti Aus & NZ, in association with the Mahila Utthan Mandal wing of Sant Shri Asharam Ji Bapu Ashram, with the aim of empowering girls and young women by nurturing confidence, positive thinking, inner strength, self-belief, and a strong sense of purpose.

The word Tejaswini describes a girl who embodies tejas (inner radiance), confidence, positivity, courage, self-esteem and inner strength . The initiative is founded on the belief that every girl possesses unique strengths, abilities and potential that can be nurtured and developed. Just as a small seed contains the potential to grow into a magnificent tree, every individual has the potential for growth and excellence. In the same way, every girl has a Tejaswini within her . Tejaswini Abhiyaan seeks to encourage girls to recognise their strengths, discover their potential and develop the confidence to make a positive contribution to their families, communities and society. Through educational, cultural, creative and community activities , the initiative promotes positive values, confidence, leadership, self-awareness, personal development and an appreciation of Indian cultural heritage, traditions and values . The initiative provides an encouraging environment where girls can learn, participate, express themselves, develop their abilities and build confidence while connecting with cultural traditions and the wider community. The vision of Tejaswini Abhiyaan is simple: to inspire every girl to discover, nurture and awaken the Tejaswini within her.

Key Focus Areas of a Tejaswini Bhava SessionThe program is typically structured for girls and women aged 16 to 35 years and addresses various facets of life through interactive presentations, seminars, and camps:

• Personality Development: Empowering young women with leadership skills, stress management tools, and higher self-esteem.

• Yoga & Health: Teaching practical yoga therapies, pranayama, and ideal daily routines tailored to women's physical and mental health.

• Digital Awareness: Guiding participants on navigating modern challenges, such as the rising misuse of social media and psychological stress.

• Cultural Preservation: Encouraging an appreciation for Indian traditions, classical music, and moral discipline while resisting peer pressure or excessive westernization
