"Is my child ready for school?”

This is asked of Early Childhood Educators regularly and the problem in answering this, is that the NSW Government has made this decision quite difficult, with a window of 18 months for children being eligible for school.

We will provide the foundations for understanding and being able to answer this question, along with loads of teaching tips and strategies to assist in preparing children for this very important transition. 

We will discuss best practice in providing this information to parents.

The workshop is presented using a PowerPoint presentation with each participant receiving a hard copy via email in order to take notes and make comment as the workshop progresses.

There will also be ample time to ask questions during the session and at the end.

All attendee's will receive a certificate on completion of the workshop

School Readiness is one of favourite topics and also our most popular professional development. We have been presenting it for over 7 years to all levels of qualifications and experience levels.

This session can be uploaded to NESA, falling under the banner of "Elective Professional development" for 2 hours.
