'Set The Stage' Basics of Stage Management

Albany Light Opera and Theatre Co. (ALOTCo) is hosting some cool theatre workshops during the October school holidays
A workshop is demonstrated by Peter Cook who first learnt about Stage Management in a unit at university and then many years ‘hands on’ at ALOTCo and Spectrum Theatres.
Workshop is intended to teach the basics of Stage Management including details of responsibilities of stage managers, assistant stage managers, and stagehands; stage construction and nomenclature; communications between production crews; responsibilities towards actors and performers.
This will be carried out on the ALOTCo stage. Intended for all ages with a maximum number of 12 each session.
A ‘Certificate’ will be supplied with course contents to add to the participants portfolio.
· Saturday, October 4th,
· 2 sessions - 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm & 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
· Albany Port Theatre, 256 Princess Royal Drive ALBANY
Only registered participants can attend. No parents or carers, there will be plenty of adult supervision.
Cost is only:
· $10 for non-members (not yet advertised)
· $5 for ALOTCo Full members (ALOTCo membership Adult $35 and Under 18 $20)
