SET 1 Linda May Han Oh + Fabian Almazan + Ben Vanderwal Trio @ Astral Weeks

Based in US, Linda May Han Oh and Fabian Almazan have had a musical relationship spanning for more than eighteen years. Grammy award winning acoustic/electric bassist, Oh was recently featured on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk and has performed with artists such as Pat Metheny and Geri Allen. Cuban-American pianist Fabian Almazan has developed a personal voice through the electric manipulation of the acoustic piano and has toured his music extensively as well as accompanied artists such as Terence Blanchard, Mark Guiliana,  and Ambrose Akinmusire.
Reuniting with them is local drum hero Ben Vanderwal who has performed with John Scofield, Charlie Haden and Ray Thistlethwaite amongst many others.
