Join us for this national webinar designed for settlement service providers to strengthen their understanding and practice in working with all clients, including LGBTIQ+ migrants and refugees. As part of the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support Community of Practice (SETSCoP), this session will focus on supporting safe, inclusive, and responsive service delivery across the sector.

The webinar will bring together (more to be announced):

Through short presentations, case examples, and panel discussions, the webinar will explore:

  • Inclusive approaches for working with LGBTIQ+ clients from refugee and migrant backgrounds

  • Tools, strategies, and frameworks that support culturally responsive practice

  • Insights from providers, government, and lived experience practitioners

  • Current initiatives, sector priorities, and where to next

This event is a practical opportunity to build capacity, learn from peers, and contribute to an evolving body of practice that centres safety, dignity, and inclusion for all clients.

This session is for all SETS providers, frontline practitioners, team leaders, program managers, and staff working in the broader migrant and refugee support sector who want to strengthen their understanding and practice in LGBTIQ+ inclusion.
