I wish I could download your mind!
I’ve learned a LOT…Carers can be empowered to ask questions. I have been inspired by personal stories and by what you are doing!

When the child or young person in your life is going through significant mental health distress, figuring out how to help can feel overwhelming. This workshop is designed to make that journey a little clearer.
We will explore common hurdles and helpful approaches when a young person needs support. Together, we will share ideas for starting conversations about these challenges with young people, and with people who can offer professional help. You will also have a chance to consider different viewpoints within your family's experience, recognise your family's existing strengths, and discover resources that can help you navigate these situations.
You will meet other parents, families, carers and kin who are all facing similar experiences.

At a time when I was starting to lose hope and felt particularly isolated, the workshop environment was inclusive, supportive and leaders & other attendees share advice and compassionate understanding
Being selfish is not a bad thing. It is good to be in a place helping others.
There’s something really magical about having a like-minded group of people in the room going ‘that happened to me too.’ - there’s a feeling of connection and community.
