Sew a Barrel Handbag

Join a small group and sew a gorgeous barrel shaped handbag with internal divider and optional pocket. A fabric kit and light lunch are included with your ticket. You will be guided by an experienced bag maker with tips, demonstrations and quite probably cake. Tea and coffee are also available.

Bring your sewing machine, larger sewing machine needles plus spares, a basic sewing kit - scissors, seam ripper, pins and/or quilt clips.

Please advise of any food & drink allergies or intolerances. Bringing your own keep cup and nut free snacks are welcomed.

As there are machines and hot irons, all attendees must be over the age of 18. Terms and conditions apply. Please note that not all fabrics available in class will be the same as pictured.

Attendees must be over the age of 18 before the course starts.

Attendees must have their own sewing machine and know how to use it.

Refunds can only be given before the date of the specified course.

Full refunds will not be given if cancellation is requested less than 7 days before the course starts.

A 50% refund will be given for cancellations requested up to 8 days before the term starts.

A 100% refund will be given if Handmade for Me cancels the course.

Refunds will not be given for non attendance.

A minimum of 3 attendees is required to run any of the Saturday classes. Handmade for Me reserves the right to cancel the course if there are not 3 attendees.

If applicable, attendees must purchase fabrics of the recommended types for making the bags according to the pattern in class. Failure to do so may mean they can not make the bag as specified in the pattern being used in class.

One ticket per person only
