Event description

What’s it all about?

Linen is a wonderful material, all the better when it's soft from wear. And even better better when it has a fun, vintage design! Do you have a draw full of these at home? Or some special ones you haven't wanted to use? Well you wouldn't be alone. Laneway has plenty!

Upcycle a cheery vintage tea towel into a useful bag for summer. Bathers and a towel? Lunch and a book? Come and learn some simple and useful sewing techniques and create your own bag. Bring along a favourite tea towel or choose one from our collection.

All equipment and materials provided for you.

This class is suitable for sewing beginners.

What will we cover?

In this hands on class we will cover basic sewing stitches and provided you with the materials and supportive instruction to create your own summer bag.
