Creative Sewing for Teens & YouthÂ
NEST Group - Sustainable Orewa
For ages 11 - 17yrs  Costs $10 per student.
Beginner and confident sewers welcome.
We can only accommodate different students per session. Both sessions are in the same format.

9.30 am - 12.30 pm 10 tickets
2.00 pm - 5.00 pm  10 tickets
Venue: Hibiscus Coast Community House (old daycare)
Entry from 2 Centreway Road, Orewa
Parking is available out front. Access through the child gate.
Workshop Content:
Sew and Mend
Learn mending and sewing skills for a sustainable future. FREE sewing/repair kit to use and take home.
Students will also learn how to use a sewing machine.
The creative sewing & up cycling workshop will start after the morning/afternoon break.
Please BYO water bottle and snack.
Creative Sewing & Upcycling
Each student will pre-select one project to make from diverted textiles.

After you purchase your ticket(s) you will receive an email with the requested information we need.
NEST Group provides all resources for these workshops in partnership with Sustainable Orewa.
Funded by a waste minimisation grant from Auckland Council and by donated and diverted textiles.
NEST Group volunteers will also provide their time without charge.

The maximum number of tickets issued for this event will be 20.
