Sex & Communication with Sensuality and Self
Event description
Why this workshop?
When was the last time you felt comfortable to sit in a space and chat about sex and communication and actually felt like you learnt something new?
This workshop invites you to explore how sex and communication exist within your life, encouraging you to recognise your strengths and empowering you to connect with yourself.
Dive into an engaging workshop with your facilitator Annalise and explore how sex, intimacy and relationships are influences by our social and cultural contexts.
What does your current relationship with sex & intimacy look like? What do you WANT it to look like? How can we get there.
Your facilitator, Annalise, is a certified sexologist, completing a postgraduate Diploma of Sexology at Curtin University while also practicing as a Registered Nurse throughout the south-west. She will guide you through a bunch of different activities, you will be encouraged to participate where you are comfortable.
What to Expect? Participants will engage in a selection of facilitator lead activities, individually and within groups, exploring current cognitions surrounding sex and communication. Participants will be invited to think broadly about the intersectionality between the two, gently reflecting on where they are currently at and where they would like to focus more attention. The workshop aims to highlight this intersectionality while empowering individuals to reflect on their strengths and learning.
Who?
