When low mood, anxiety, stress and mental health challenges get the better of us they can make an impact on so many parts of our life, including our connection to our bodies, desire and intimacy.
Join Sex Therapist Georgia Grace for this online panel discussion to discuss the links between sex, intimacy and mental health. How it impact our relationship with our body and others.
This event will focus on these key areas
- Mental Health and Desire
- Stress and Trauma - The physiological impacts
- Shame: Religion, Identity, Culture and society
- Communication: developing a language to start conversations
This event will discuss some topics that may be challenging, new and uncomfortable for some so please be gentle with yourself.
Mental Health March is created by UNSW Health Promotions Unit and aims to encourage the UNSW community to engage in conversations surrounding the often challenging topics of mental health and wellbeing. The team offer workshops, resources and mental health services to all UNSW Students and Staff.
