SEXtember 2024: Bystander Workshop 1 (Student Workshop)

We all have a role in preventing disrespectful behaviour and violence. This workshop, aimed at UNSW students, empowers you to recognize problematic situations and equips you to intervene when it's safe to do so

MATE is a leadership program, focused on the role of the bystander in creating respectful workplaces and communities.  Our message is simple: by being an effective bystander, we can all contribute to strengthening a safe and supportive campus culture. We explore attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours that challenge disrespectful behaviour and a framework to make a difference.   

To drive change, we open a dialogue about the dynamics and context of various forms of disrespectful behaviour.
