SFC Film Festival August 2022 Online Screening
Event description
SFC Film Festival celebrates space exploration and the positive achievements of the human family through positive space films and general positive films. There is two purpose to this film festival one is to nurture filmmakers to make more positive films and the other is to bring hope for the future to audiences. As the old saying goes “What we dream we tend to create”, so let’s create a better future.
This event is the fourth online screening of the second season in 2022. It'll include officially selected films submitted during the Space EVA Stages .
The screening will also include announcements of sponsors joining us, special offerings to filmmakers, upcoming training events and short speeches from filmmakers.

Welcome intro
Screening of official selected films from "Space EVA" Submissions
- The Sentry by Julián Stubbs Generali (Mexico) - Against common sense, a man looks at the sun every day as a profession, searching for the secrets hidden in the light.
- Gravitational Lensing: poetic observations of the distant universe by Alicia Sometimes (Australia) - What happens to light when passes near a black hole? A cluster of galaxies? Any giant mass?
- The Rise by Alesja Suzdaltseva (Estonia) - In a shipwreck, a little girl Lilit, finds herself on a cold planet, where she must quickly repair her ship.
- ESTCube saved my life by Tero H. Savolainen (Finland)- A short documentary about the passion of and difficulties faced by members of the Estonian student satellite programme ESTCube.
